Claire is offering a relaxing, calming and gentle workshop next weekend for those of us who feel we need a little help continuing on in this new year with a sense of peace and tranquility. Her lovely workshop is from 2 to 4 pm and is only 50 soles. If you register before the class and pay in full, you will receive 10 soles off, making the workshop only 40 soles.
Claire has been teaching yoga since 2013 and is a certified Yoga Nidra teacher (2015). As an instructor, Claire strives to bring energy and to encourage her students to experiment with their own practices. She wants her students to feel safe, inspired and to have individually rewarding experiences. Claire is truly thankful for what she has gained from the community, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to it.
What is Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep)?
Yoga Nidra brings an incredible calmness and quietness, allowing insight to surface. It is a method of exploring the different layers of the mind. In Yoga Nidra students set a desire, (sankalpa) for themselves. The seed of this intention, when spoken internally at the beginning and the end of the practice, is planted deep into the unconscious where it motivates changes in behavior and lifestyle situations that support your deepest heart's desire for healing to unfold. One session of Yoga Nidra is equal to approximately 3 hours of sleep in its ability to rejuvenate. Yoga Nidra provides the pathway within to remember your connection to nature. Yoga Nidra is suitable for all levels and only requires the inner desire to discover relaxation and wholeness.
