Karen Love Born - Sydney, Australia Birthday - January 8th After over a decade of practicing, and five years teaching yoga, Karen has come to the conclusion that she loves it deeply, both as a teacher and a student. She teaches a soul-nourishing heart-centered class, with a strong focus on alignment and breath. Her Slow Flow class is a fusion of all of the traditions she has been trained in, bringing a variety of energy from around the globe ,with a Slow Flow that softly melts into a restorative yin flavor, then ending gently with a Yoga Nidra styled savasana. "My parents both practiced yoga. And from a young age, I had learned meditation and practiced the Satyananda tradition of yoga. My first step onto the mat felt like I had returned home, to myself and to my heart. Yoga is the only constant in my life, regardless of life’s ups and downs, no matter age, or time, or finance… yoga is there. Yoga has no prejudices and no judgments." Karen also loves to paint, cook, and hike in nature. You will find Karen in the ocean or traveling to remote destinations around our planet. She has been teaching full time for about 5 years all over the world from Costa Rica at various health resorts as well as private classes and retreats in Central and South America. Since returning home she taught in Byron Bay. Currently, she is teaching full-time classes and retreats in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, Peru QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
